Cakeups will be held every six weeks in various locations around Canberra. Each Cakeup will have a theme and you may come along as a baker or as a guest. To come along to a Cakeup follow us on Twitter and Facebook
and keep an eye out for announcements of when registrations open for the monthly Cakeups. Plenty of notice of the exact date and time when
registrations open will be given so mark it in your diaries and jump on line as soon as registrations open as places
are limited and it is first come first served!
The theme of each Cakeup and the venue will also be announced at the time registrations open.
All ingredients must be listed on a card to
be placed next to the cake (for any people with allergies).
All bakers and guests may eat, and take, as
much cake as they wish. Noone will be judging or comparing how much each person
takes. Bakers and guests may bring a plastic container for this express
purpose.
The venue of the Cakeup will, generally, be
a place of business such as a café, restaurant or bar. While we will organise
an intimate and comfortable atmosphere at a suitable venue for each of the
events, we ask that all our bakers and guests to purchase a tea/coffee/drink on the day as a thank you gesture to our host
venue.
All bakers and guests are obligated to
enjoy their time at Canberra Cake Club!
